The Verna Mae
$50.00

Every Verna Mae spatula is made with a laser cut 1075 Spring Steel blade, hand-bent and welded 304 Stainless Steel stem, and a hand-turned wooden handle.

Each wood choice has its own character and each individual unit is unique.

Shagbark Hickory is the closest I have to the original handle of my grandma’s spatula. It’s robust and rugged.

Purpleheart is what I started this product with because purple is both my and my grandpa’s favorite color. It gets more purple over time.

Honey Locust has the largest variance in grain character and has average hand-feel.

Silver Maple ranges from stark-white to light grey and matches a lighter colored kitchen set.

Padauk has a beautiful open-grain structure and feels like air in hand.

Osage Orange is incredibly yellow and striking. This first batch unfortunately all cracked but are solid because of the epoxy bonding the stems in.

Leopardwood has a beautiful grain that is spotted and circular.

Marblewood has a gorgeous marbled grain that attracts all eyes.

Bloodwood has the best hand-feel by far. It almost feels like polished plastic in hand.
